Music at the funeral

Every ceremonial hall, in the case of a civil burial, and each church, for the church burial, has its own music or music programme. It depends on you survivors what music option you choose. In the case of special wish of musical conduct (horn, favourite song of the deceased, etc.) please contact us already during planning of the ceremony. You can give us your own music on a flash drive or CD.

In the mourning hall, we are used to hearing classical music, brass, folk but also rock music, and so on.

If the deceased is being placed in tomb/grave and the ceremony takes place in the church, it is customary to ordered brass band in front of the church. The music should be playing since about ½ hours before the beginning of the ceremony itself and during arrival of survivors.

The Charon® funeral service is available 24 hours a day, on weekdays, weekends and public holidays. Contact us whenever you need our services. Our trained staff will arrange dignifying funeral for your loved one, where you may say proper farewell.
